WEIGHT REDUCTION TIPS
Eat breakfast - it gets your metabolism going
Sit down when you eat - eat slowly and be aware of what you are eating - enjoy it!
Find a weight busting buddy - you can support each other and a bit of competition is good for you!
Don’t go hungry - eat when your body tells you
Don't eat by the clock if you can avoid it
Don't shop when you are hungry
Don't deprive yourself of evreything you like - treat yourself now and again so you don't become a misery
Drink lots of water - often our boies think they are hungry but they are really thirsty
Eat slowly and if you have food over when you are full either put it in the fridge for later
Throw leftovers away without feeling gulty
Avoid the tempation of all-you-can-eat buffets
Start a food diary so you can monitor your intake
Make sure you get enough protein
Eat fresh fruit and veg as much as you can
Have REALISTIC goals ( 2lbs a week sounds managable - 3 stone sounds impossible!)
Pack a salad lunch for work instead of buying a sandwich
Eat off smaller plates
Cut down on take aways
Eat varied foods diet to avoid boredom
Believe in yourself
Eat 80-90% of your meals at home where you are in control
Eat without guilt
Visualise every day – see yourself at your ideal weight
